Cheesy Herb Croutons

Crunchy, flavorful croutons packed with herbs and melted cheese — perfect for salads, soups, or just snacking!


Ingredients

  • Stale bread slices (4–6 slices or as preferred)

  • 2 large eggs

  • Salt, to taste

  • Black pepper, to taste

  • A handful of chopped chives

  • A handful of chopped parsley

  • ¼ cup (59 ml) milk

  • About 1 tablespoon butter

  • Vegetable oil (for frying)

  • Cheese of choice (e.g., cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)
